I love Five Guys, they make amazing burgers, milkshakes and fries with a proper American diner theme. We had one open in Exeter a few years ago, and have had a few delivered.
One night I really fancied one, but as it was February and we were into the Fatloss February Challenge, I wanted to make my own healthier version.
I made a lower fat burger with 5% fat mince, didn't use any oil in the frying, used my Air Fryer for air fried chips and used lower fat mayo and low sugar ketchup. I had to use a proper white burger bun for authenticity, and American cheese slices.
The serve the burgers with free toppings, and this burger is a take on their 'All the Way burger', which is mayo, lettuce, pickle, tomato, grilled onions, grilled mushrooms, ketchup and mustard.
