Review:- Breville Twin Motor Compact Hand Mixer

Despite my love of cooking my kitchen is quite lacking in terms of accessories and appliances.  It was only a few months ago that I bought a blender for the first time and a decent set of knives!  After my obsession with The Great British Bake Off I really wanted to get myself a stand mixer and a hand mixer.  Until now I have been whisking my egg whites by hand, it's hard work!

I was then approached by Ebuyer and asked to review the Breville Twin Motor Compact Hand Mixer, which is a stand and hand mixer all in one!


In the box is the mixer itself, the bowl, 3 sets of beaters and a spatula.  It is really small and compact but the bowl is really generously sized.  I was intrigued how it would fully mix something when used as a stand mixer until I discovered that the bowl itself moves as well.  The unique twin motor arrangement drives the bowl against the mixer which provides a three way beating action for a much more thorough beating and mixing. The first thing that I tried was creaming butter and sugar together and it was like a dream! Mixed to a perfect smooth mixture really quickly with as little effort from me as possible.

I normally struggle with assembling products but there was no issue here.  It was all pretty self explanatory to assemble and just as easy to disassemble too.  The hand mixer pops off with just one button which is one of the best and most unique features of the product.  I absolutely love it and have no idea what has taken me so long to get me one!  This unit is available here for £52.00.  The possibilities are endless!
