I absolutely love Greek food. I had my first taste of a Greek Gyros at my local street food market, and I've been obsessed ever since! While for gyros the meat is traditionally cooked on a vertical rotisserie, this slow cooker version gives all the same flavours and tenderness.
I like to serve mine with loads of cucumber, tomatoes and salad. It goes great with my Tzatziki and feta or halloumi cheese, which can be used as a HEa.
Did you know that I have a weight loss support group on Facebook!? It's a place to share meal ideas, meal plans, food pictures, success stories, and generally support each other on our weight loss journeys!
