Review- Sainsubury's Free From Range

The average Free From customer spends 73% longer shopping for products suitable for their special dietary needs than a typical customer, new research from Sainsbury’s shows*, which equates to an additional 2 hours 26 minutes per month or 29 hours 6 minutes per year. The findings come as Sainsbury’ introduces market-leading front of pack allergen communication, designed to provide customers with key allergen information at a glance as well as a greater choice of better-tasting products. They sent me a selection to try out for myself, and as someone that doesn't actually need to eat free from foods, what better judge to compare to the real thing!

Substituting normal flour for things like Rice Flour, these bakewells have a lovely crispy base and great filling.  I gave one to Nick and he didn't even know there was anything different about them! The box comes with 4 pastry Cases filled with Fruit Jam and Almond Flavoured Sponge, Topped with Fondant Icing and Half a Glacé Cherry.



4 Almond sponge slices with glace cherries topped with flaked almonds.  Lovely soft and spongy with loads of flavour, again it is very difficult to tell that there is anything different than usual with these slices.

Really tasty and difficult to tell from normal chocolate. They are a great healthy option for lunch snacks, they are light in calories too!
